HSS Classic Yacht Committee is the Classic Yacht section of Helsingfors Segelsällskap - HSS - the second oldest Yacht Club in Helsinki that was founded in 1893. HSS has the largest fleet of Classic Yachts in the Nordics, maybe in Europe as a whole, with more than 50 Metre class yachts, Skerry Cruisers, A-boats, Folkboats, and other classics in it's Merisatama Harbor just outside the southern tip of Helsinki.

CYC was founded to endorse Classic Yacht sailing, owning and restoring. We work in close co-operation with the Scandinavian Classic Yacht Trust - SCYT and other Classic Yacht Societies. We are working for maintaining our Cultural Sailing Heritage in the Nordic countries and hope to see Classic yacht racing thriving in our waters, just as they have done for 150 years.
